It was a bright morning in June 2007. Me with my two friends Afzaal, Saud and Hasnain went to LuluSar Lake in Naran. After visiting the Lulusar lake, we decided to go to Dudipatsar Lake that was, according to the guide, a walking trek of almost three hours. But when we started walking, there was a small river on the way that was having no bridge. Surprising thing was that there was no walking bridge on this river instead there was a small manual cable car that a person have to drive himself. That was the only way to cross this river to continue our trek. That was the most horrifying experience of my life while I was crossing it. Give it a try whenever to come to Naran, Pakistan :)

Naran

Hi Qasim,

I remember going to that area in late 80's did not try the Cable bridge, but I must say the scenery was great. Also enjoyed supreme Chicken Tikka the best I ever tasted. Just wish the Roads were better, it requires a really skilled Driver who knows the Roads like the back of their hand.
