All Nippon Airways and Continental Airlines boosting Travel Between USA and Japan

Japan’s largest carrier All Nippon Airways (ANA) and leading US carrier Continental Airlines recently announced the expansion of their codeshare agreement allowing the passengers to choose from a wider and more convenient range of options when traveling between Japan and the US.

The codeshare agreement will also include United Airline’s Narita-Houston, Narita-New York and Japan-Guam flights.

Keisuke Okada, Executive Vice President of ANA, said, “Our trans-Pacific agreement with Continental Airlines in March is already working successfully. This development of our partnership will expand the networks of both airlines and offer our valued customers a more convenient selection of flights between Asia and the United States.”

Codeshare agreement became effective on Japan-Guam routes from June 1. Earlier, codeshares on Narita-Houston and Narita-New York flights have already been launched since May 1 this year.
Since March 28 last year, the two airlines have already been operating codeshare flights. Until the recent expansion, the codeshare agreement had initially been operational with ANA’s trans-Pacific routes, ANA’s domestic routes and Continental Airlines’ US routes.
